To boost my fundraising this Christmas, i will be holding a Charity Beer festival at the Ploughman Pub in Werrington from Wed 4th - Sun 8th December. As part of this beer fest i will be selling beer which has very kindly been donated from some local breweries, and over the weekend i will be selling raffle tickets for my BIG Christmas Raffle which will be drawn on Sunday 8th December. On Wed 4th December we will be holding another Christmas Quiz night. Unlike the last 2 years though this will not just be Christmas quiz questions, but we will have a school theme. The different rounds will all be related to school subjects and then we will have a bonus Christmas round too! I am currently just over £12,000 and i would love to be able to increase this amount by another £2k at least to help towards my £20k target. Everyone has been so generous and kind, and i would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you so far to everyone who has donated raffle prizes so far. Along with big thank you's to my Dad, Adrian Posnett at Oakham Ales, Andrew Reed at Charnwood Brewery, Mike Holmes at Xtreme Ales, Duncan Vessey at Castor Ales and BGL Group CSR committee for donating money for me to purchase ale and raffle prizes. 3rd January 2020I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated beer or raffle prizes at my charity event. As well as a big thank you to all of those who attended. Without you all i could not have raised this huge amount of money. Thank you so much to everyone involved. Hopefully 2020 will be the year i hit the £20k target.
