This year marked the 20 year anniversary of our Mum passing. To mark this Holli set herself up on a mission to raise £5,000 for this amazing cause. She well and truly smashed her target and now it's my turn to get involved. I have been running on and off for the last couple of years, but this last year I have really found a passion in running. I attend Werrington joggers with Kate, and we try and sign up to as many 10k races as we can. Running the Great Eastern is not only about improving my running ability but I’s about raising as much money as I can for this amazing cause. My Mum passed away in July 1998 at Thorpe Hall and I remember how amazing all of the nurses were to both my Mum and us as a family, and now I feel like it’s my turn to give something back by raising money for them.
